View Full Version : formatting form fields and document

I have a document with numerous text form fields on it.
Some form fields are on the same line. After protecting
the doc, when typing into a form field, it starts pushing
the other form fields over that are on the same line. I
have removed all tab stops. How can I prevent this
behavior? I do not want the other form fields to lose
their position when I am typing into another form field
that is on the same line. Thanks in advance for any
guidance.

Put them in a table with limits on the cell size. For more about online
forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.
Hope this helps,
