Find certain "Text" in a specific coloum, add corres. values

Try =SUMIF(C1:C3,"A",D1:D3)

This is quite expandable using sumproduct for a criteria in B and matching
in C and then sum C.

Select the range and in the formula is box enter =A1=25

Copy parts of a number

Well, I wonder if it is really a 'number'...?

Seems to be text as written and if 123,4567 copied and pasted from the post
to Excel it shows as 1,234,567.

So pasted in a text formatted cell you can...

That COUNTIFS in 2007 seems a lot more intuitive than the SUMPRODUCT of
2003.

If you check out HELP for SUMPRODUCT in 2003 it does not even get you near
to the solution I...

Numbering Sequence

In the sequence column, (C here), first cell =IF(B1"",1,"")
In the second cell and pull down =IF(B2=B1,C1+1,1)

Since your "consolidated sheets" have unique lookup values I think this will

Reverse Row Order?

Try this.

In the next column enter 1 and pull down to whatever, the end of the list.

Select both columns and sort Decending by the numbered column. Delete
numbered column.

use VLookup to copy more than 1 cell

Say you want to return five values to the right of the lookup value in the
table_array.

Select five cells where you want the answer and while selected enter this
formula, adjusted for lookup value...

sheet module. Provides a summation list in F10, F11 & F12 along with a
