Your vector dimensions aren't the same s3:s44 is a 1x42 and E3:m44 is a 9x42
you need to have the vector being the same dimensions.

don't want cell numbers to change when pasting formulas

You need to lock the cell down by using the "$" sign

so rather than having =c4 make instead of =$c$4 and then copy as needed.
