Default read only files

I have publisher 2003 and every time i try to save my homework onto
CD it says the file is marked as read only.
If it helps to know, I'm the administrator.
Is there a way I can unmark it as read only as there's no other way i
can save my work.
I've tried copying and pasting the file onto the disk but that hasnt
worked either.

Please, any help would be useful.

If you have a Burner...CD-RW or DVD-RW...
you should have the software that came with
it...possibly Nero or Roxio? Save the file to
a folder on your hard drive and then open
your burning software and create your data
disk.

And maybe the following links will offer
some ideas:

in Windows XP

(306524) HOW TO: Copy Information to a
CD in Windows XP

And BTW...you can copy/paste...drag/
drop to a CD-R or CD-RW if the disk is
formatted for Packet Writing. Have a look
at the following article:

RECORDING SOFTWARE
http://www.osta.org/technology/cdqa4.htm

Two examples of Packet Writing software
would be:
Nero InCD and InterVideo Direct CD/DVD
