Default Distribution lists

That's not possible with an Outlook-based distribution list. You'll need a
mail enabled server level distribution list for that.
For the difference see;

I created a distribution list and gave it a name. When I use it, I only
want
the name of the distribution list to appear in the "To:" field; I don't
want
all of the names of the people in the group to appear. I know you can use
the blind copy to keep all the names from appearing, but I don't want to
do
this - I want to be able to put the group name in the "To:" field.

Thanks, Ladybug
