Default Boolean search - Categories

Jack,
I don't have an answer but rather a question. I want to do a boolean search
categories - filter - more choices - and I want only my contacts that have
both categories.

When I select both - I get all contacts with either rather than only
contacts with both. I have tried boolean "and" then + but no luck.

How are you entering a boolean search/filter at all?

The AND operator works, the OR operator works, but the NOT operator is not
working for me. I need to use the NOT operator-- does anyone know anything
about this?

(In Advanced, you can use the "doesn't contain" command, but that doesn't do
what I need it to do- -it's not the same as saying-- this, but NOT this)

The environment is Outlook 2003/Exchange 2003

Thanks,
Jack
