Default Fax from outlook without a contact record

You're very welcome, I'm glad it worked!

Thanks Guys, That worked a treat. Further more I use it in an access data
base (create a formula to add the "fax:" and brackets to the number) that
choses between email and fax numbers and then I can merge through outlook
to
emails and faxes at the same time.
BTW All these feed from business contact manager in outlook with my own
custom fields.
With a bit of effort you can do some great stuff with outlook, BCM and
access. Thanks again!

Surround fax:888-8888-8888 with brackets [fax:888-8888-8888] and see if
it
helps

Hi,
Is there a way to type in a fax number directly into the address
section
of
an email (ie not having to create a business fax record in outlook
contacts).
I seem to recall in earlier versions you could type:
fax:888-8888-8888
and it would send that fax (which was great for mail merge) but it
doesn't
seem to work with windows xp and office/outlook 2007- unless i am
missing
something - which does happen sometimes.

Thanks heaps
