Rick:
When I go into this MS Community section and put in a new post, I type my
question. At the bottom of the screen there is a check box "Notify me of
Replies".
I check this box, but I do not get a message. Is there something else I
have to do?

We have no idea. We don't know what your database looks like. I'd suggest
you ask the person who built the database what that checkbox is supposed to
do.

We can answer questions about ACCESS, but unless you share your database
structure and code withus, we can't answer questions about your specific
application.

When I ask a question, I check the box to "notify me of replies", at the

the
check box? Or do I have to do something else to be notified when someone

has
answered by questions?
