If you know what a split database in Access means, you can try out Tony's
AutoUpdater here.

If each user have a full version of Access 2007, you'll have to setup Trust
location in each and every one of them. A script may be needed too, if you
want to automate this process.

Disabling Macros may not be a good option in your case. But it's possible
since the DB is already a trusted application.
