Close Outlook.
Use Windows Explorer to copy your Outlook data file.
The Help files tell you how:

Russ,
Please tell me how to copy the PST. I thought you created a PST file when
you exported.
Thanks.

What I am telling you is that you lose data (such as custom forms) when
you
export and import. That is not the correct way to transfer Outlook data.
Use
export/import only when you have a need to change file formats.
Just copy the PST and open it in the other installation to transfer data.

I exported my contacts to a .pst file from my old computer. I then
imported
the file to my new computer with Outlook 03. Thats why I am importing.
The
contact form (the form when you make a new contact) for some of my
contacts
is the old form. Some contact forms are then new contact form that
allows
you
to place a picture. I said nothing of changing file formats. Simply
trying
to
get my contacts into my new computer.

Why would you import from one installation of Outlook to another? You
have
no need to change file formats.

When I import my contacts from 2000 to 2003 the contact form for
some
contacts is the new 03 form where you can put the picture and some
are
the
old form from 00. Any help would be appreciated.
