Default Outlook 2003 Contacts

Right click on "Contacts in Personal Folders" select Properties/Outlook
Address Book and tick the box. This will display this Contacts folder when
looking up a contacts address.

Also, you may wish to remove the default PST file that was created when you
installed Outlook on your new computer and just use the one with your data
in that you moved from your old machine. To do this, first you need to set
your default delivery location for new email to the other PST file - go to
Tools/Email Accounts/Next and change the field "Delivery new email to the
following location" to the other Personal Folders item listed. Then go to
File/Data File Management, select the Personal Folders item with the Comment
"Mail delivery location" and press Remove.

After re-installing Office 2003 onto a Vista PC I imported my backup pst
file
with e-mails and contacts into Outlook; when I now select Contacts in
Outlook
I see (under 'My Contacts) 'Contacts' which is empty, and 'Contacts in
Personal Folders', which has all my data.
If I try to send an e-mail and look-up a contact's address, Outlook can
only
access the Contacts which is empty. I can't delete 'Contacts' but also
can't
seem to transfer my data into it. Can anybody help with this problem
please?
