Thanks Steve, the code worked well. It was really helpful. You indeed
saved me lots of time.
Now I know it's asking a bit too much but is there anyway I can insert
a windows file directory function to get to the file by navigation
rather than type the entire path in?
Go to www.mvps.org, locate Randy Birch's VBNet (note: NOT Dot Net) site and
search for Windows Common Dialog code. He's got a good example there.
You can also use the report tool in our FixLinks (the demo is free and includes
reporting functions) to locate the linked and mislinked files quickly.

The full version locates, copies and relinks automatically. Saves all that
nasty coding. ;-)
