Of course I have enabled the view of hidden files!
Thank you the hint to go to the
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup2007.asp webpage. With the help of this
I realised that the Outlook 2007 Help for this information is wrong!!!
Outlook 2007 Help information is:
On your old computer, choose one of the following: Windows Vista Go to
drive:\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.
The information on
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup2007.asp is:
Vista and Windows 7 File Locations: Nicknames for AutoComplete is
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook
AND THIS IS THE CORRECT PATH!!!
Please notify others as well
Thanks

The file is a hidden file. If you have enabled autocompletion it exists.
File locations are well documented in the public domain:

I have Windows 7 and Outlook 2007 and I have the same problem like Chris,
no
.nk2 file (the Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields is
ON).
In the folder drive:\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook I found a file
spscoll.dat which contains an amount of the names used by me but the list
is
far not complete.
What you sugest, where to look for the file?
