Next time you need not import/export the PST file. In fact, you should not.
That's the kind of thing that causes this problem in the first place. You
simply configure the new profile to use your existing PST file.

I was able to export and import the contacts OK. I exported and imported
the
calendar kinda OK (I lost the reoccuring feature).
I used the comma separated windows option for export/import.

I think there is a disconnect somewhere between the
contact
folder
and

configutation, or the MAPI configuration file

could
not

8 - If I try to add a new contact folder, it also

box
for
"show this folder as an email address book"
grayed out.
9 - I "repaired" XP office and this did not solve
the
problem.
