With the presentation file open, go to Slide Show Set Up Show and see
whether you have the presentation set to show on the Secondary Monitor. If
you do, and if you don't have dual monitors, that would explain why you
can't see the presentation running. Set it to Primary Monitor and go to
View Slide Show. Does it work now?

I managed to get the application back on the desktop by right clicking on
the powerpoint tab in the taskbar and choosing move. But the full screen
presentation still can't be seen when I run it.

Anyone know how I can fix this?
