Default I'm looking for a Word Computer Equip. Inventory template

If you have the form he likes in a Word doc, just analyze it and copy its
layout and formatting. If the problem is that you don't know how to make
forms in Word, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm and especially
the forms tutorials by Dian Chapman that this article links to.

IMO, what should matter for an inventory is the content, not the appearance.
Moreover, it may be that Excel is more suitable for this than Word. I notice
that the inventory templates offered at
http://office.microsoft.com/template...CT061993481033
are (with the exception of one Access template) all for either Excel or
Publisher. The "Equipment Inventory List" at
http://office.microsoft.com/template...CT061995421033
and the "Inventory List" at
http://office.microsoft.com/template...CT061995421033
seem highly rated and very popular.

Hello Suzanne, I tried it and I thought it would work. It sure worked for
me, the table I mean. I guess my boss saw some nicer looking forms, I mean
boxes here and there, just super. That is what he wants. I'm ready to have

a
heart attack, I don't know what to do. I told him I was going to ask for
help in this NG, it is not like I'm trying to hide my total crash on this.

I
can make a form in another program, like FormFlow and JetForm. I bought
these program many years ago, and used them. He wants them in Word though.

I
would pay 200.- or more to buy a program that would allow me to design a
form and save it in Word. Isn't there anything out there at all. I would
like to send you a copy of a form that he saw and liked. It is not a form
that I can use, but that is the style he likes. It is a Word .doc
form.........Peter

Can't you just set this up as a table?

I kind of feel embarrassed to ask, but I wonder if there is a gentle

person
that can help me with locating a template for and inventory list.

Kind
of
what does the company have in inventory computer wise. Something like

make
and model, serial # installed software etc. I looked on google, and

looked
all over the place, but was unable to come up with something. I also

need
a
service request form. I don't mind paying for this. All I need is the

right
direction. I appreciate all the help I can
get...........Thanks..........peter
