Default Make a change in Access DB backend

No, you don't need to do any importing.

Make the change in the back-end.

Go into the front-end and delete the linked table then relink it.

My database has been split. I used JStreet Access Relinker to set up the
linkage.

I now want to add a URl (hyperlink) field to the Back End Contacts table
so
that I can draw that field into the query for a form (both in the front
end).
It is my database. Is there a way to do this? Do I have to import the
queries/forms/reports/macros back into the backend and then resplit the
database?

Thanks for whatever insight you can provide.
