I also have the same problem with the arrows. You are right about any drawn object not working correctly when used in a table. Suzanne was correct about there being a lot of information about the Equation Editor, but I don't think the answer lies there. You would think that something as simple as using a text box or an arrow would be easy enough for a program like Word to handle.

The behavior Joe is describing is the same problem I am having with my arrows. This seems to have to do with an intentional relationship between any drawing object and the tables. Where can we get more information about that? I have tried looking in Help, but I must not be asking the right questions or using the right key words.
