Thank you for your response. I had reinstalled Windows ME, and then the
problem occured when I tried to reinstall Outlook 2002. I notice that
Outlook 2002 refers to itself as part of XP. However I never "uninstalled"
Outlook 2002 (aka Office XP?), I just reinstalled Windows ME.

In any case, the link to which you referred me tells me to resolve this
problem by copying Vs7jit.exe from the Office XP installation CD-ROM.
However, I don't have an Office XP installation CD-ROM, just a copy of
Outlook 2002.

Please advise further. Thank you for your attention.

vs7jit is the J++ debugger. According to

YES CONTINUE

"Continue" produces nothing. "YES" starts me all over again with the same
message as at the top:
"Error
A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?...

So, then I am in an endless loop of error messages
