Default How to label bubbles in bubble chart

Kathy wrote:
I'm trying to graph multiple rows, each of which has 3
data values. I want to graph a bubble chart whose X- axis,
Y-axis, and bubble size represent these 3 data values.
But I also want the bubbles to be different colors so I
can distinguish them by row. Finally, I'd like to label
the colors with row names in the legend. Is this possible?

Do you have only one series of bubbles? If so, select

the data series of
interest, go to the menu and click Format | Selected data series |
Options tab. Put a check in the Vary colors by point box.

I
can't label the colors in the legend. Instead they take
on the X-axes values for each bubble. I can see how to
change the name of the series, but all the bubbles make up
a single series. Instead, I want to name each bubble
separately now that it has a different color.

I see I missed the part about the legend the first time around. Sorry.

The only way that I can make your chart work is to make each individual
bubble a separate series.
