Default Missing Active Applications

Right-click in a blank area of the taskbar, and (if it's checked) select Lock
the Taskbar to deselect it.

You should now be able to see dotted borders around the edges of your
taskbar elements, which you can drag to resize. I'm guessing the program
area got squashed up during the install/uninstall of the Search deskbar.

I recently upgraded to Outlook 2007 and loaded Windows Search at the same
time. After a day or so I decided I didn't like the search function so I
uninstalled it via the control panel. Since then I have not been able to see
my active applications on the toolbar below the Quick Launch toolbar. How can
I get this back? Thanks. Linda
