Generally authenticating to the SMTP server is sufficient in solving this
issue. Since you have tried that, I would turn on diagnostic logging,
duplicate the issue, and then review the log to see what the heck is going
on between the client and server.

I have 2 accounts set up in outlook 2003, and no matter what I do, whenever
I
try to send from the one account, it is always received from the other. I
have tried everything I can think of, including setting up authentication
on
both accounts, deleting and reinstalling accounts, and changing which is
the
default, and nothing has helped.

I have the following installed:

Windows XP Home SP2 with all released patches installed
Office 2003 SP1 (.6360) installed w Business Contact Manager

This is a major problem for me, as I work with multiple companies, and I
cannot have one companies's clients receive emails from the other. I know
that many others have had the same problem--is there any solution to it
yet?
