Default Cannot open links in MS outlook emails

Ahah! It was Google Chrome's fault! (in my case anyway)

Thanks for the tip!

This is a problem with IE, its not an Outlook error. You need to reset your
internet settings in IE's Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab. (Or Control
panel, Internet options, Advanced tab).
See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/link_restrict.htm for more
information.

Someone replied to this problem with a link in their email, unfortunately
since I cannot open links in my email the reply couldn't be read. I then
posted the link in IE browser but nothing came up. If this is an alternate
way of communicating this solution please try again. I have a compaq
presario
running Vista, IE 8 and Office 2007; purchased in Oct. 09 with 3 yr tech
support. So far tech support couldn't come up with a solution. One of
their
people then set up Administrator, which didn't help. When I try to open up
a
link I get the message " This program has been cancelled due to
restrictions
in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. I am
the owner and only user of my PC and never had to set up an administrator
before.

Thanks for listening.
