Default Quick formatting

1. You can experiment with Table | Convert | Table to Text, then Text to
Table (after adding the required number of tabs).

2. Set a decimal tab stop. Figures will align on the first non-numeric
character (other than the thousands separator), whether it is a decimal
point, a letter, a punctuation mark, or nothing.

I have the need to format financial tables as quickly as possible. They

may come as 3 column to 8 column tables. At the moment I am cutting and
pasting data into their relevant fields. Is there a way of speeding this up?

I also have the need to set up brackets ")" and pence "p" to hang to the

the right of the figures in a column. How do I set this up.

Your help would be most appreciated!

Rgds,

Daryl
