Default This is absurd

Many people have explained in thread where you went wrong. Download and
install IE7 again.

Kerry,

There was no Beta warning when I installed V.7. I wouldn't have
installed it. If the page wasn't the same page as I posted, then it
was similar. It was on the Microsoft homepage. But regardless, what
do I know? And why does it matter that it is a beta. The update said
it was a V7 update and it installed v6. It's a little backward. I
wasn't told it would do this, but the initial message said it was an
v7 update, like a simple update.

The page where you downloaded your previous version of IE7 was a
different page. A month ago there were clear warnings about
installing a beta product.

I don't see the word Beta anywhere

I think Microsoft need some updating of personnel, starting with
Bill Gates
and continuing until the last programmer is booted. Keep the
cleaning crew
and the cafeteria staff.

let's get this in perspective:

1) You installed a BETA product
2) You complain when you are using your computer and it alerts you
that it's about to install updates while you are using your
computer 3) The update is for a BETA product
4) Your BETA test machine doesn't perform properly

What part of BETA don't you understand - if you are not prepared to
deal with problems then don't run BETA software.

If you are prepared to deal with problems associated with BETA
software you should have posts your statements as "I've tried to
install IE7 BETA update and I'm having problems".

Your first paragraph makes you appear to be trolling.
