Default outlook 2007 dist list; an internal support function returned

Please post more clearly. At what point exactly do you get the error? What
is the precise error message?
Things to include: how you created your Contacts and how you configured your
Outlook Address Book Service. Something in your Outlook profile or database
is corrupt.

I click New Distribution List. I name the list and from my Contacts
Folder
I select memebers. I save and create an email. I still get the error

Sure. What don't you get and what question(s) do you have?

There is no address book in Outlook, only Contacts Folders. You never
use
the address book view to enter or create data. You only use Contacts
Folders
for that.

If I understand what you mean by "information store", no, I'm not
running
Exchange or anything like that. This is Outlook 2007 installed on a
single
notebook PC. Once I open the address book, I use FileNew EntryNew
Distribution List to create it. Yes, I've tried rebuilding from
scratch,
same error.

State what information store you are using and how you created the
DL.
What
happens if you create a new DL from scratch? --
