Same command with the same space for safe mode:

Start Start Search outlook.exe /safe
(space between outlook.exe and /safe)

Should have mentioned that I cannot open it in Safe Mode either.

Have gone to every referenced site -- they all give me the same solution
which will not work. I don't even know who to pay to fix it

"Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook." Tried changing switch to

"Not valid. Verify Switch."

Really need some help. On deadline for client. Thanks.

Can you be a little more specific about what EXACTLY the error
message

says?

Does this happen even if you start Outlook in Safe Mode? (hold down

CTRL
while you click the icon) See if this helps:

Have you tried starting Outlook with the /resetnavpane switch? See if

this
helps - http://www.officeforlawyers.com/outlook/tsol.htm#cls
