Indeed. You have now defined your problem. You do not have your Outlook
Address Book configured. You also must have a valid mail transport in your
default Outlook profile and Outlook must be your default mail client. The
rest of the directions are he

Dear Russ, I tried doing an envelope directly from Word; clicked on the
address book icon, and received the following messages:
1. Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client
cannot
fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook and
set
it as the default Mail Client.
2. "Logon failed. You must log on to Microsoft Exchange to access your
address book. Error Code "Unspecified Error".

.... So your message IS helping, I had not tried this before. Would you
please help me get information on how to fix problem #1. I'm in hopes
that
if #1 is fixed, #2 might not be an issue.

Thank You

I don't understand.
There is no moving back and forth or cutting and pasting when you do this
from Word. Word automatically pulls the data from Outlook.

I wanted to start the process from Outlook because I simply wanted to
mail
a
check to someone, and I have their address in my contacts without
having
to
go back and forth between copy & paste to Word. The Sharp Wizard
software
had this which is what I used before outlook, and I used the envelope
feature
quite often. I appreciate your time for your response.

Well you can't. They are separate programs that do not have
interchangeable
menus.
Since you can do this far more easily from Word, why would you want to
start
the process from Outlook? To do this from Outlook you'd have to create
an
entire mail merge just for one envelope.

How can I add the "Envelopes & Labels" button which is found in Word
2003
to
OUTLOOK 2003 so that I can quickly and simply print a simple
envelope?
