Help.

Thanks.
I had this problem. My problem began when I uninstalled a program which had an Excel dll. So when I came to use Excel I received an error message saying an object missing. I then tried to fix excel by repairing it, but received the message that cab file ZF561402 was missing. This cab is not on my installation CD or in the cache somebody suggested.
In slight desperation I reinstalled the program I had previously uninstalled and this fixed my excel program. The excel dll was MSEXCL35.DLL.
Presumably I would still get the office repair error message if I tried to repair office but at least excel is now working. Hope this helps.
