Whenever you install Outlook, Windows XP Fax switches from using the Windows
Address Book to the Outlook Address Book.
So should you, it appears.
What happens if you reset your OS to use the Windows Address Book?

My OS is Windows XP. Before I installed Microsoft Office XP-2002, whenever
I
would send a fax from my old word processor -- AmiPro -- or Notepad, the
Fax
Wizard would come up and I could click on Address Book and select the
recipient. Now I get all sorts of error messages that I cannot use the
Address
Book (and no entries are showing), whether I use Word, AmiPro or Notepad.
But
the Address Book is still on my hard drive -- I can access it through
Start -
All Programs - Accessories - Address Book -- though I get a new prompt,
asking
me if I want to make it my default V-card viewer.
