Have you emptied your temporary cache lately? In Internet Explorer, tools,
Internet Options, delete, delete files.

Compact your Organizer, open your Organizer from start, Microsoft Tools,
Microsoft Clip Organizer. When the Organizer opens, tools, compact. There is a
detect and repair under the Help menu.

You might do some of the following if registering the .dll did not work.

Update your MDAC components, or check your MDAC components to see if you have
mismatched components.

Your Organizer can become corrupt. Rename your Mstore10.mgc to Mstore10.old. It
is in a folder similar to this: (hidden)
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\Clip Organizer
You will lose all your custom keywords. The Organizer will create a new catalog
the next time you open it.

Mary, I followed all your directions. When I ran the analysis to update my MDAC components and determine my release version, it indicated that I have MDAC 2.8 SP1 on Windows XP SP2. I tried to access Help on Comonent Checker version 2.0, but the cc.exe - Bad image window opened with the message "The applicaton or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\mscoree.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette. I didn't know what to do next, so I went ahead and renamed Mstore10.mgc to Mstore10.old. When I tried to use Publisher (version 2002 SP3) to access the Clip Organizer, I got the original error message quoted above.

Thank you for trying to help me. Can you suggest another solution?
