At one point in time my boss could open a contact, attach a file to
it such as an excel, publisher, or word document. He could edit the
file attachment, then save it to the contact as if it came from the
original folder where it was saved. For instance, he would attach a
document from his (e) drive (external hardrive) to a specific contact
and when he is ready to edit it, he would simply open the contact and
double click on the file. When he is finished editing, he would save
the document and the document would be saved onto the original folder
in his (e) drive. Well, now when he is finished editing and goes to
save the document, it no longer saves onto the original folder, it
saves in the temporary internet folder called “OLK74” that is hidden.

He should use the Save As menu item instead of Save.
