Default Sound recorder in Publisher

I was thinking the same thing...audio ink?

Maybe the OP would find PowerPoint more useful????

Sorry if this is a silly question, but why exactly do you want to record a
voice in Publisher? Publisher is a program for print output; you can't
print a sound. Even if you're creating a website in Publisher, the sound
(as far as I know) won't transfer to the web.

Use an audio application for audio files. Sound Recorder can be started in
Start All Programs Accessories
