Your subject line mentions Access 97. This may further complicate matters,
as suggestions that would work for later versions of Access may not apply to
Access 97. As you pursue this and ask further questions be sure to mention
every time that you are using Access 97.

The links John Vinson provided are well worth checking out. IMHO Crystal's
tutorial is as good a place as any to start, but the other links have lots of
useful stuff too.

I expect you have figured out by now that Steve's "offer" is not worth
checking out.
