Default memo field

Hi. is there a way in the memo field to save formatting characters such as
bullet points / carriage returns ; so that when a report is generated, the
style reflects these characteristics?

Not directly in Access; you need to use a "Rich Text Format" third-party
control. Check out www.mvps.org/access and search for "rich text".
