Default yes/no value lists

Hello, I have a table that has the user answer yes/no to several questions.
I'm using a combo box w/value list to do this for each of the fields. When I
test entering data into the table and select one of the fields that has the
yes/no value list, all of the fields that have the value list appear in the
row as "no" even though I haven't selected them and the default value isn't
set to no or yes. I need for the fields to appear blank until the user
selects yes or no. Can I do this in the table without setting up smaller
tables for each field???

Thanks for your help!!
