Duplicate, linked data file
I am using OL2003. In the Navigation Pane, I have two
Outlook data files that are linked. If I delete an email from the main data file, it is deleted from the duplicate. If I move the main data file, the duplicate can no longer be opened. However, when I try to find the duplicate (as this article "http://support.microsoft.com/? kbid=278167" suggests) through Control Panel\Mail\Data Files or Profile, the duplicate is not there. I also cannot close it in the Navigation Pane. Do I have an extra key in the registry? This happened after reinstallation after a hard drive crash. Thank you for your help! Hattie |

Duplicate, linked data file
In addition to having two data files in the navigation
pane, when I click "To" in the new message window to try to send a group email, the duplicate Contacts folder cannot be opened or displayed so the real data file must be re-selected every time. I have tried uninstalling|reinstalling. Thank you! -----Original Message----- I am using OL2003. In the Navigation Pane, I have two Outlook data files that are linked.
