How do I get OUtlook to stop inserting a "1" in the dial strin
Not much help, Brian. I'm running XP Pro, I've been in PHONE and MODEM
OPTIONS a dozen or so times. The only place where the "1" is specifiied is if special Area Code rules are set (none are on my machine). I have "9" set for local calls, "8" for long distance - yet Outlook always wants to dial "8 1" for a LD call.
