Default Add contacts to addressbook automatically when I reply to email

Add contacts to addressbook automatically when I reply to email. I used to
have this feature which is extremely useful. I am really unhappy that it is
no longer available

Since Microsoft is unlikely to add this feature back in (it appeared only briefly in the horrible OUtlook 2000 IMO mode verseion), you might want to see http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/addauto.htm for various ways to save senders or recipients as new contacts automatically, depending on your version and configuration of Outlook.

Hi Eleanor,

I miss that feature too from Outlook 2000. I'm still wandering why Microsoft
took that feature out. However you can have this feature back in Outlook
2002 or higher using add-ins. An example of an add-in that can do that is
Bells & Whistles for Outlook:
