Default Style sheets and page formatting

I want to set up a Heading 1 style so that each heading
level 1 in my document starts on an odd numbered page. Is
there anyway of doing as part of the style setting rather
than manually inserting section breaks?

Thanks

Not for odd/even pages, no; only for starting on a new page
(irregardless of odd or even)

You could try getting a real page layout program, Like
InDesign or Quark, you will be able to carry out this
function in those applications
I have never managed to do it in Word. But perhaps that
because we still use an older version of the application.
