Default 2002/2007 sync

Other than manual export/import, is there a sync mechanism between 2002 and
2007?

Thanks

Export and import are never a good way to transfer Outlook data.
Outlook was not designed or intended for sharing data files. On this site is
an article on various ways to share Outlook data:

You will also find a list of third-party sharing tools:

No, not without 3rd party tools... and note that you can't import Outlook
2007's default format into 2002.

Thanks to all who answered. Have used export 2007 contacts to a personal
folder which is then "sent" via Live Sync to 2nd PC with 2002 Outlook. Was
looking for an easier way, as in direct translation.

Posting follow-up question separately.

You not only need an easier way, you also need a way that will work. One of
the many reasons exporting is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data
is that it provides you no control over the PST file format. Any file you
export from Outlook 2007 will not be compatible with Outlook 2002.
