Default Symbols change when exit Word document

I pasted a Word document on a Visio 2003 page. When I double-click
inside the box, the toolbars change to those of Word. I used a
triangle pointing to the right for my level 3 bullet. When I double-
click outside the box, toolbars change back to Visio, and text is fine
except that the level 3 bullet becomes a question mark. It turns back
into a right-pointing triangle when focus/cursor is inside the box.

How can I prevent the bullet from turning into a question mark when I
leave the Word box?

Sounds like a font/format that Visio is unaware of due to pasting an object
vs. pasting text/metafile.
Consider pasting just the text.
