Changing a file from read only?
I saved an existing file from my computer to a cd to be able to work from my
laptop, but when I try to save any changes to the cd it tells me it's read only. I don't see any commands putting it on read only and it's not read only in my C: drive. How can I save any changes made on the cd? |

Check out the file properties in Explorer and remove the Read Only checkmark. When you copy data froma read-only medium like a CDROM, this is normal behavior. |

After you are done making changes to the copy on the harddrive burn it
to cd. Student wrote: I saved an existing file from my computer to a cd to be able to work from my laptop, but when I try to save any changes to the cd it tells me it's read only.
