Default Can I place sercuitry protection on the data in acess 2000 but st.

I have built an access 2000 database and want to put a security lock on it
but still allow users to enter data but not have access to alter the program

Hi jerri

To do this, you distribute your application as an MDE file
(Tools Database utilities Make MDE file)

In an MDE there is no such thing as Design View, so users cannot even read
your code, much less alter it.
