Default Office 2000

I had to install a new hard drive and consequently reinstall my office 2000
suite. I have long since lost the cd holder and I'm being asked for a new key
#. Is there a way I can get a new key #

Maybe. Did Office 2000 come with your computer or did you purchase it
separately?

You can call Microsoft for a new product key as long as you didn't purchase
an OEM version.

(Please be aware that they were still doing this for Office 2000 up until a
few months ago. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that they've since stopped
this but it's worth a call.)
