Page Break in reports
Hello!
I'm using Access XP. How does the page break work? I put it into a reporta at the end of the first group-level, everything works fine in the secrren, except for two thigs: 1- The last page appears in blank, 'cause the page break is at the end of the first group level, every time access reaches the footer of the group it inserts a page break, even in the last page... How to correct this? 2- The printed report does not include the page breaks on screen, it simply prints everything together. Please help! Another thing: is there a way to activate/deactivate the page break using VBA?? -- ________________ Jorge Novoa F.A. Arias & Muñoz El Salvador, C.A. |

Page Break in reports
The Page Break control in the toolbox is mostly there for backwards
compatibility. Occassionally it is useful. You activate/deactivate it by toggling its Visible property (even though the Intellisense does not know it has a visible property). Usually, it is easier to set the Force New Page property of the section. With the report open in design view, select the grey bar representing the group header secion. In the Properties box, under the Format tab, set Force New Page to Before Section. The section starts on a new page. It can be a matter of trial and error, but you may solve your blank last page by setting Force New Page to Before Section for the group header rather than setting the property for the group footer section. -- Allen Browne - Microsoft MVP.
