Default How do you print whole screen as seen?

I want to print the whole screen as seen, complete with tool bar etc as I
need to write a procedure note! The Help line say simply press 'Print
Screen', but this does not have any effect. It also suggests pressing
'Alt+Print Screen', this too has no effect.
Can someone help please?
Regards
Mike

The PrtSc button will copy the entire screen to the clipboard, from here it
can be pasted into Pub, Word etc. and resized then printed.

Alt-PrtSc does the same as just PrtSc except that it only copies the active
window ie Publisher, the Save screen etc.

Mike -

I would suggest using SnagIt! for this purpose. Print Screen (or Alt +
Print Screen)will not capture your cursor. Plus there are other things that
Print Screen just doesn't do.

Go to http://www.techsmith.com/snagit.asp. They have a 30-day free trial.
I've been using it to do something like you intend and it works well with
Publisher.
