Default Snapshot Viewer

So Cherly, what was the answer? Did you get it fixed?

I am having the same issue and am using the latest download referred to in the posting here.

Please advise when you receive this.

Many thanks.

I am trying to install Snapshot Viewer on my boss's laptop-
I have installed this program in the past and have had no
problems. I go through the installation process and
everything looks to run fine- when I try and open a
snapshot file through an email it asks wether I would like
to open the file or save it ... I select open and it tries
to install some 2000 Office Professional application... I
click cancel and another error message pops up. Anyone
have any ideas as to what can be wrong? I beleive he has
been upgraded to XP.
Thanks in advance. CC

There are some security updates to the Snapshot Viewer that also require
certain Service Packs. You can read the details in the following Knowledge

Arvin,

this didn't work...someone else had also mentioned to make sure you have the
snapshot installation file right on the computer you are gonna install
on...this didn't work either.
Anyone else have any ideas????

The only problems I ever had with the Snapshot viewer were with the older
version that was distributed with the Access 97 Service Pack. Those were
fixed by uninstalling SR1 and then reinstalling it after a reboot, followed
by installing SR2. You might, as an interim measure, until you get the
problem worked out, use one of the free PDF makers such as CutePDF:
