Default Forms only open maximized

My forms in Access 2007 only open in maximum (full screen), and I cannot
figure out how to change to "normal" size. Setting the popup property to Yes
restores the normal size, but keeps the form in veiw all the time, which is
not what I want. Is there a way in Access 2007 to open forms in "normal"
size. Thank you.

Hi Richardb,

In A2003 you could have an On Open event for your form like this:

docmd.restore

Hope this helps - not sure if it works in A2007 but easy to try!!

Damian.

Thank you, but before I get to coding, I mean that in 2007 I no longer see
the "control box" on my form, so no min or max (restore) buttons. I can set a
start-up form in Access 2007 using the "Office" button but then on start-up
the form opens maximized. I don't see any way to "restore" it other than
coding. Same is true of just opening any form -- all forms seem to open
maximized by default and don't see any control box with the restore button.
Is this missing from 2007? or am I just not finding something.
