Default sumproduct in pivot

2003 version excel

In using a pivot table I would like to be able to customize using sumproduct
instead of sum or average, etc. Is there a way to do this?

SUMPRODUCT as it is normally used is usually an alternative to using a Pivot Table, and can be
written to return what is normally the same result. But you can add a calculated column that
multiplies two or more of the columns together, if that is what you want - your explanation is
sketchy.
